Note: this kit does not include the ejector buttons. If you need to replace the ejector buttons, you can contact us and we’ll try to source them for you.

What each part is for

The screws and plates are part of the internal assembly system that keeps the two lids joined together with the correct pressure. If they are lost or become deformed, the grinder loses precision in its rotation and may open during use.

The springs are responsible for the ejector system — the mechanism that allows you to empty the grinder’s contents by pressing the central button. A worn spring causes the ejector to malfunction or the button to stay depressed.

The closing gasket is the ring that sits between the upper and lower lid of the grinder. Its function is to create a perimeter seal that maintains uniform pressure across the entire joint between the two pieces. This has three specific effects:

• Controlled rotation — prevents the lids from having play between them, making the rotation precise and smooth without the parts shifting laterally.
• Material retention — prevents ground material from escaping through the sides during rotation, which is common in grinders without a gasket or with a worn one.
• Thread protection — by absorbing some of the closing pressure, it reduces wear on the aluminium thread with prolonged use.

Over time the gasket wears out — it flattens, loses elasticity, or breaks — and the grinder starts to have more play, lose material through the sides, or rotate with less precision. Replacing it restores the grinder to its original condition.

All parts in the kit are genuine Quick Grinder replacements, manufactured to the same tolerances as those in the standard grinder. This guarantees that the fit and performance are exactly the same as on the first day.

Generic replacements may appear compatible but often have dimensional differences that affect rotation and the ejector system. With original parts there is no risk of incompatibility.
