Quick Grinder is a highly practical, fast, and easy-to-use manual grinder. How does the ejection mechanism work?
Emptying System
Thanks to its innovative design, the Quick Grinder Original activates a sliding plate that ejects all the material. The system includes three moving parts (button, spring, and plate) and two static parts (body and pins).
The Quick Grinder’s emptying mechanism consists of a button attached to a disc via a small screw and spring, which pushes the disc forward and returns it to its original position.
When you press the button on each half of the grinder, the disc moves along the pins and pushes the contents outward. The disc is precisely perforated to align with the grinder’s pins.
All components are made of stainless steel, and the entire mechanism can be disassembled using a simple screwdriver.
This system has been tested successfully for over five years.
What is the purpose of the friction-free seal?
Quick Grinder also includes a polyethylene ring that ensures a secure seal, prevents the grinder from opening accidentally, and improves rotation by reducing friction between the bodies.
This avoids part wear and eliminates the generation of metallic dust caused by the direct friction typical of traditional aluminum grinders.
Previously, this dust would mix with the ground material and be ingested by the user — something that no longer occurs thanks to the seal’s protection.
Why is the Pin Layout important?
The pin layout in the Quick Grinder allows for a finer grind with less effort. One half of the grinder has pins every 45º, and the other every 30º, ensuring that no more than four pairs of pins align at any given time.
How to use the Quick Grinder?
Step-by-Step Instructions
For optimal use, always insert the material into the body that contains the seal. This way, the material won’t interfere with the mechanism when closing.
Join the two grinder halves together.
Once closed, rotate the bodies manually. Just one or two turns are enough for a fine grind..
Open the grinder carefully to avoid spilling the contents.
Press the buttons on both halves a couple of times to eject the material instantly.
